About
Every role I've held has come back to the same work: helping people grow and building the organizations they work in.
For more than eleven years, I've served as a senior operations leader in a growing multi-campus organization, now with about 40 staff and hundreds of volunteers. Much of my work there has been building what growth requires: clear structures, healthy teams, and leaders who keep growing.
The part of the work I enjoy most is developing people. Over time, I've found that good systems are one of the best ways to care for them. Clear roles, steady rhythms, and honest planning give people room to do their best work.
WHY BARNABAS
My name means "son of encouragement." In its original language, the word describes someone called to another person's side.
I've come to see that as part of my calling: to come alongside people and help them find the courage to do hard, sometimes daunting things.
For you, that might mean leading a team through a difficult transition or helping your organization grow without compromising its values. Whatever your hard thing is, my hope is that you'll find you don't have to face it alone.

WHAT I'VE BUILT

Helped lead the growth of an organization from about 650 to more than 1,800 people, now spanning three campuses

As board president of The Charlie Center, a homeless navigation center in Northwest Austin, led the board through a bylaws revision, a new strategic plan, and board expansion

Created a development program for onboarding and growing new staff and leaders

Designed a preparation program for church planters, now used in El Paso, Austin, and Pittsburgh
BACKGROUND
Before my current role, I spent five years leading a campus ministry, then worked in university admissions and later in finance and client consulting. Each role added something I still use: how to develop people, how to grow programs, and how to steward the resources that sustain both.
